QUESTION: How would
you respond if you stood before God today and He asked you, "Why
should I
let you into My Heaven?"
While this question may sound hypothetical, the reality is that it
is a question that we all must answer.
If you do not know the answer, please take a few moments to see how
God's Word answers it.
Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our
righteousnesses are as filthy rags;
The Bible teaches that all of our good deeds are not
enough to earn
a place in heaven.

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of
the glory of God;
It also tells us that sin has caused each of us to be
found guilty before a Holy and Righteous God.
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated
between you and your God, and your sins have hid
his face from you,
Because of our sin, access to God is denied.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.The punishment for our sin is eternal separation from God in Hell.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for
us.The sinless Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, took our punishment and
became our substitute on the Cross
at Calvary.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Salvation is based upon faith in Jesus Christ. In order to receive
the free gift of eternal life, you must
simply admit your guilt, believe that Jesus can and will forgive
you, and ask Him to do so. |
